Data licence

This page explains who owns the data in the AusVisaTime datasets and what you may do with it. It applies to the downloadable CSV and JSON files and to the Dataset descriptions on this site.

Official figures

The 50% and 90% processing-time figures, the parent visa queue assessment and release dates, and the official new-application estimates come from public pages published by the Department of Home Affairs. Copyright in those publications belongs to the Commonwealth of Australia. AusVisaTime transcribes the published numbers and dates and claims no rights in them.

If you reuse the official figures themselves, follow the Department's own copyright and licensing terms on its website.

Our compilation

What ClearNative adds is the compilation: the design of the CSV fields, the dated history archive, the comparison across subclasses and streams, and the calculator logic and charts. We provide this compilation under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0): creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0.

The licence covers the files we publish (the processing-time history in CSV and JSON, and the parent visa queue history in CSV) and our compilation only. It does not extend to the underlying official figures, which stay under the Commonwealth's terms described above.

Reuse and attribution

You may copy, share and adapt our compilation if you give credit. Use this wording: “Source: AusVisaTime (ausvisatime.com)”, and link to the specific page the data came from, such as the processing-time history or the parent visa queue page. If you changed the data, say so.

Do not present AusVisaTime as the author of the official figures. Do not use the AusVisaTime name to offer migration advice or legal advice, or to suggest that AusVisaTime endorses your product. The datasets are general information only; see the disclaimer.

For these datasets, the terms on this page take priority over the general copyright statement in the site footer.

Questions about reuse can be sent to me@clearnative.com.au.
